Do you administer vaccines?

Updated: Nov 26, 2023

The doctors operating from our practice administer a wide variety of vaccines.

Childhood Immunisations

Our Nurses provide routine childhood immunisations  in line with the National Immunisation Program Schedule.

Visits for routine childhood immunisations may be bulk billed by your doctor.

Flu vaccine

Annual flu vaccinations are  available  from approximately March each year.  Appointments can be made with the practice nurse for these vaccinations or at one of our Flu Clinics.

The Flu Vaccine is funded by the Government for:

  • people aged over 65;

  • children 6mths to 5 years, and;

  • people with a chronic health condition, which is detailed in the Government’s criteria.

For everyone else, the Flu Vaccine will cost $20.

Travel immunisations

Your doctor generally requires a half-hour appointment for overseas travel immunisations. This allows time for travel and health advice,  prescribed medications to cover you for any health risks associated with your travel and travel vaccinations.

Please complete the Travel Health Plan and bring it along to your Travel appointment. Travel health plan found on the forms page.

We recommend you make an appointment to see your doctor at least 6 weeks prior to your travel dates.

Most vaccines are available, however at times there are shortages and some vaccines may have to be ordered for later delivery.
